Another project that has been on the go for some time is the Frequency Database plugin by Fr Barry G4HDU. It has been put on here to showcase its operation although it is still no where nere fully complete. Future tasks include importing from csv files and ajaxing the display to make it a smoother operation.Although it comes as standard with a global list of entries it is customisable to suit a single country or even a single region or state. I'd appreciate any feedback on its operation in the forums.73 de Fr Barry G4HDU

Behind the scenes we are working hard on a HamRadio Deluxe Logbook plugin. At the moment this plugin has a menu configurable with the number of entries shown and a logbook page with a search function on it. It looks very promising and we are closing in to the first pre-release.You can see at the moment an example of the menu on this website. It uses a demo MYSQL database. We already tested this with a real database and what we got now works fine.HRD LogbookThis is a brand new program of Simon Brown replacing the build-in logbook of HamRadio Deluxe. In time this build-in logbook will be removed from the main HamRadio Deluxe program like the satellite part in the past when a new separate satellite was launched. The database we tested is linked from my computer by a OBDC connection to a MYSQL database on my providers server where my webside resides. This means that if I add a record in the logbook program that this record will travel by the internet to this database instantly. This means also that the data generated by our plugin is instantly updated. The record is almost instantly requestable.HamRadio DeLuxe is FREEWARE and a donation is completly up to you. You will gain no extra functionality when you donate. You will help only Simon (HB9DRV) to keep up with the costs of having the websites running.HamRadio DeLuxe can be found and downloaded at the forums at http://forums.ham-radio.ch.When? This is hard to say. We have to decide when this is ready to go public. I think it is rather a question of days instead of weeks. We will announce it here and make the plugin here downloadable...

e107radio.orgThe e107radio web site is now launched. Why has it been launched? Well, e107 is a great content management system and is ideally suited to producing many different web sites including radio based ones. What we hope to achieve here is a forum where radio related plugins for the CMS can be showcased as well as becoming a useful radio resource for all radio enthusiasts around the world.
